Glenwood Community Centre is pleased to continue to offer our FREE Sticks, Rings & Pucks and Public Skating program.  To view this program's schedule, please visit our Calendar of Events

Please note that our calendar is updated every Monday by 5:00pm.  If there is no reference to Sticks, Rings & Pucks/Public Skating, this means that this program will not be available that week.  We would kindly ask that no phone calls be made to the office in regard to these times, as all information is on the website.  Please check the Calendar of Events before attending, as any changes will be posted.  Thank you. 
Sticks, Rings & Pucks Rules & Information
 
To ensure the safety of all participants, and due to the growing popularity of Sticks, Rings & Pucks, Glenwood Community Centre will now limit the number of skaters on the ice to 20.  Please register online in advance of the session, and our staff will verify participants upon arrival.  Just a reminder that children 12 and under MUST be supervised by an adult (18 years of age or older).  We appreciate your cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Currently, Sticks, Rings & Pucks will be offered every Tuesday, from 1:15pm - 2:30pm and 2:45pm to 4:00pm
commencing January 7, 2025.

ALL skaters MUST wear a CSA approved helmet
No shinny, scrimmages, games, slapshots and formal instruction during Sticks, Rings & Pucks
Hockey/ringette gloves and sticks are mandatory on the ice
Only people wearing skates are permitted on the ice
No food, drinks or gum is allowed on the ice
Use of cell phones and/or headphones while on the ice is not permitted
No photos/videos allowed
Chairs, homemade skate aids, child car seats, baby carriers or strollers are not permitted during Sticks, Rings & Pucks
Glenwood Community Centre reserves the right to limit the number of skaters on the ice
Inappropriate behaviour, language and/or unsafe activities will not be tolerated, and may result in removal from the ice
12 and under require adult supervision

*Must bring own sticks, rings and pucks.  We won't have these available on site*

 
Public Skating Rules & Information
 
ALL skaters MUST wear skates and a CSA approved helmet on the ice surface.  Those without skates will not be permitted on the ice surface
No shinny, scrimmages or games of tag allowed during Public Skating
No food, drinks or gum is allowed on the ice
Use of cell phones and/or headphones while on the ice is not permitted
No photos/videos allowed
Glenwood Community Centre reserves the right to limit the number of skaters on the ice
